Bilateral meeting of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Vietnam

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 3, 2018 No. 292-rp on holding the Year of the Russian Federation in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Year of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation and in accordance with the Consolidated Program of the Year of Russia in Vietnam and the Year of Vietnam in Russia Bilateral meetings are planned to be held in 2019-2020 (paragraph 9) in June 2019 in order to exchange experience and technologies for the safe use of chrysotile in the production of building materials.

At the invitation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, from 22 to 30 June 2019, a government delegation from Vietnam will visit Moscow.

On June 25, 2019, the delegation visited our institute. On behalf of the Institute’s team, Igor Bukhtiyarov delivered a greeting, Evgeny Shigan to the Museum of the History of Occupational Hygiene and Diseases. Evgeny Kovalevsky presented more details on the use of chrysotile asbestos in our country and the world in industry.

From the institute’s side, Lyudmila Kuzmina and Nina Rubtsova also participated in the meeting.
