10th meeting of the NDPHS Occupational Safety and Health Expert Group

10th meeting of the NDPHS Occupational Safety and Health Expert Group was held in Stockholm, Sweden 28-29 March 2019.

The Meeting was attended by representatives of the International labour organization, the Northern dimension partnership leadership and members of the expert group from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, the Russian Federation (the member of OSH EG Rubtsova N.B.), as well as the representative of Belarus.

Occupational Safety and Health Expert Group (OSH EG) Progress report for 2018 was presented.

In addition to the reports of the countries on activities in the field of occupational health and safety, the General prospects for the development of the problem in the countries of the BSN were considered.

The issues of ensuring professional longevity (including in the framework of coordinating the activities of 20 working groups to ensure the health and well-being of the aging population); ensuring the preservation of health and labor activity of migrants; psychosocial problems at work, workloads were discussed as priorities.

A preliminary report on the results of European Union 2-year project: “Improving prevention, identification and information on occupational and occupational diseases and emerging risks” was presented

There were the discussion of perspective projects, including: “Enhancing national capacities on strategic OH&S workforce planning and development: Project development status”.
