III International Scientific Forum
«Health and Safety at Work»

May 15-17, 2019 in the north-eastern part of the Republic of Belarus, in the cities of Polotsk and Novopolotsk, the III International Scientific Forum «Health and Safety at Work» was held.

The Forum was attended by representatives from all regions of Belarus and many Russia, as well as scientists from Switzerland, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia and Kazakhstan.

In addition to the traditional sectional meetings on Occupational Health and Safety, the Forum program for the first time presented the Symposium on Preventive and Industrial Toxicology, at the opening of which the director of the Erisman Scientific Hygiene Center, RAS Academician Valery Rakitsky.

RAS Corresponding members Igor Bukhtiyarov and Victor Rukavishnikov, Professors Luibov Shpagina, Ludmila Kuzmina, Liliya Fatkhutdinova, Oleg Lakhman, Olga Sobolevskaya, Pavel Serebryakov, Nina Rubtsova, Irina Fedina, Marina Dyakovich, Leonid Strizhakov, Olga Vasilyeva, Nataliya Efimova and many others.

A significant event of the Forum was the attendance by participants of the event JSC NAFTAN, the largest petrochemical complex in Europe, which currently produces various types of fuel, lubricating oils and bitumens, aromatic hydrocarbons and petrochemical products. One of the priorities of the enterprise in the field of social policy is to ensure the safety, preservation of life, health and efficiency of workers in the labor process.
