Visit of the European Commission Representative to the Institute

On July 17, 2018, Dr. Hilde Sleurs, an employee of the European Commission’s Cooperation and Interaction with Eastern Europe, visited the FSBSI Izmerov Research Institute of Occupational Health.

The purpose of the visit to the Institute was to get acquainted with its structure, research areas and holding a meeting on future cooperation.

In the morning meeting, the Institute was attended by the Deputy Director for Research, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Ludmila Kuzmina, Deputy Director for Organizational Work and International Cooperation, Ph.D. Evgeny Shigan, the head of the scientific and organizational department, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Nina Rubtsova and Lana Shurinova. The guest was acquainted with the Museum of the Institute, some laboratories of the hygienic corps and the Clinic of the Institute.

Dr. Hilde Sleurs was on the territories of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation from 11 to 19 July 2018 with the project C380168 “better prevention,identification and reporting of work related and occupational diseases and emerging risks”. Prior to Moscow, Dr. Hilde Sleurs visited Minsk.

The meeting on this program was attended by Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Ludmila Kuzmina, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Nina Rubtsova, Doctor of Biological Sciences Galina Tikhonova, Ph.D. Galina Lagutina, Lana Shurinova, as well as MD, Professor Andrey Bushmanov, Deputy Director General of the Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center.
