IV International conference “Migration and International Law”
On September 19-21, 2018, the 4th International conference “Migration and International Law” was held in Moscow. The event was organized by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) together with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The large-scale goals of the conference included, among other things, the discussion of the problems of protecting the rights of migrant workers. Much attention was paid to the role of integration initiatives in the issues of global management of migration flows, as well as the applicability of international experience in the legal regulation of migration in Russia.
The event aroused the interest among representatives of state authorities, leading Russian and foreign experts and journalists specializing in international law issues, migration and population.
The conference was attended by the head of the Aviation Medicine Center of our Institute, an international expert on international humanitarian law, Professor I. Kholikov.
