The International Conference “Industrial Medicine: Lessons from the Past and New Horizons”

On December 13, 2018, the International Conference “Industrial Medicine: Lessons from the Past and New Horizons” was held at the All-Russian State Educational Institution of Higher Education, in which the Academy, the German-Russian Koch-Mechnikov Foundation and the Italian Embassy in Russia took part.

The conference was devoted to the consideration of topical issues of industrial medicine. The main topics of the conference were: problems of protecting the health of the working population; health management system of workers; issues of prevention and treatment of occupational diseases; aspects of international experience in creating healthy jobs, as well as scientific cooperation in research and education.

At the plenary meeting, the director of our Institute, I.V. Bukhtiyarov.

In his speech, the issues of registration of occupational diseases in the Russian Federation were highlighted. Also from our Institute at the conference were attended by E.E. Shigan, V.F. Pfaf, V.G. Suvorov, V.V. Serikov.
