Scientific-Practical Conference
“Labor Longevity: Innovative Crystallization of the Problems of Early Diagnosis, Treatment, Prevention and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Oncological Diseases”

On June 6-7, 2019, a Scientific-Practical Conference “Labor Longevity: Innovative Crystallization of the Problems of Early Diagnosis, Treatment, Prevention and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Oncological Diseases” was held in Novosibirsk.

The Conference was attended not only by leading scientists and specialists from Russian regions, but also by representatives of countries from the near abroad.

Izmerov Research Institute of Occupational Health and the Occupational Health Physicians and Specialists Association were also co-organizers of this event, but a significant part of the work was performed by educational and scientific-practical institutions of the Novosibirsk region. These are, first of all, the Novosibirsk State Medical University (the rector is Professor Igor Marinkin), the Novosibirsk Scientific Research Institute of Hygiene (the director is Professor Irina Novikova) and the City Clinical Hospital No. 2 (the head doctor is Luibov Shpagina). Participation in the event was taken by the Russian Respiratory Society, the Novosibirsk Cardiological Society and the Society of Therapists, as well as the Public Council of the United Russia party project Healthy Future.

But the bulk of the preparatory and organizational work lay on the shoulders of the heads of the departments of the Novosibirsk State Medical University, professors Luibov Shpagina and Elena Poteryaeva. It was they who did the almost impossible — they managed to unite in the scientific theme of the event all areas of development of the theme of preserving the health of the working population, and especially the issues of working longevity, the most important in our country recently in connection with the Decrees of the President and Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation.

From our Institute reports were made with presentations by Luidmila Kuzmina and Evgeny Shigan.
