32nd International Congress on Occupational Health

From April 29 to May 4, 2018 in Dublin, Ireland, passed the 32nd International Congress on Occupational Health. The main organizer of the event is the one-time interstate organization, the oldest in the world (founded in 1906) for more than a century.

This forum is not only the world’s largest regular scientific international congress in the field of workers’ health, where experts in the field of workplace safety and occupational health gather every three years, exchange new scientific information and practical experience in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various occupational and work-related diseases.

Within the framework of the Congress, 10 plenary and more than 30 semi-plenary sessions, more than 500 sectional and political events, as well as more than 600 thematic meetings were held and over 700 posters were presented. More than 2500 delegates became participants of the Congress.

From our Institute with oral and poster presentations took part Igor Bukhtiyarov, Evgeny Shigan, Nina Rubtsova and Evgeny Kovalevsky. The delegation from Russia also had professors from Novosibirsk – Elena Poteryaeva and Lubov Shpagina, representatives of other regions.

The new National Secretary of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) for the Russian Federation elected Evgeny Shigan for a next three-year period (2018-2021).
